The a1-cbiss team specialises in designing and supplying fixed gas detection systems in process industries.
During fermentation in the brewing process, yeast consumes oxygen and expels large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2).
CO2 has a density that is heavier than air and as a result it collects in small toxic pockets low on the floor, building up in confined spaces in and around the process.
As CO2 is a mild asphyxiate, these pockets of gas can be hazardous to personnel operating around the process machinery.
Technical product engineers from a1-cbiss are able to visit a site to carry out surveys, conduct product trials, support with product training, and discuss the right gas monitoring system for the customer’s requirements.
