Netzsch Pumps has developed the Full Service in Place (FSIP) concept for the progressing cavity pump.
This allows interventions in equipment without dismantling the pump from the pipework, says the company.
The new design makes it possible for a full service (including the mechanical seal) to be completed – and equipment placed back in full operating condition – within 20 minutes, says Netzsch Pumps, and there is no need for special tools.
The approach has been in practice for three years with the TORNADO T2 rotary lobe pumps, and a FSIP version of the progressing cavity pump is now established on the market too.
The FSIP is adaptable to most industries and also integrates into existing installations.
