Weir has adapted 45 years of proven pitot tube pump technology to create the new Roto-Jet RO-FT API 610 pump.
The RO-FT between-bearing configuration provides a reliable and easy-to-maintain pump for the midstream and downstream refining, petrochemical and chemical processing industries, says the company.
Designed specifically for demanding low-flow high-head services, the pump fully meets the requirements of API 610.
The Roto-Jet pump has also been specifically designed to achieve a broad operating range without generating damaging hydraulic forces during a process upset.
Weir says these attributes result in improved mechanical seal and bearing life which maximises MTBF (mean time between failures) and decreased operational costs.
