£5m skills development facility opens in Huddersfield

Projex Solutions, which specialises in the development of project management solutions for the process industries, has completed the design and build of a £5 million process manufacturing training plant at Kirkless College, Huddersfield, which has been designed to create the next generation of engineers.
The project received capital funding support from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), and features a state-of-the-art training facility, which incorporates a fully-operational process manufacturing batch plant.

The plant will also eventually house filling and packaging equipment, which meets the training requirements of process manufacturing industries, said Projex Solutions.
