The considerable daily load variation in water or wastewater treatment plants makes it economically feasible to introduce motor control on rotating equipment such as pumps and blowers.
The new generation VLT AQUA Drive, which now boasts new features and functions, can realistically offer first-year cost savings of between 10-30% compared to traditional drive solutions, says Danfoss.
The user-friendly setup of water and pump settings reduces installation time, adds the company, ensuring a quick route to energy efficiency and motor control.
Specially designed software features help users protect their assets in a number of ways, such as by avoiding water hammer, reducing maintenance on pumps and blowers, and by saving additional energy.
