The Magnetrol Pulsar Model R86 non-contact radar transmitter has been designed to offer improved performance, circular polarisation, high-temperature/high-pressure antennas, and advanced diagnostics.
The 26 GHz Pulsar Model R86 has a smaller wavelength and improved resolution. That is key, because it can be installed into process connections as small as 1½-inches. In addition, it lets you view up to 20 events, including diagnostic and configuration data.
The high temperature antennas can be used in extremely demanding applications and punishing conditions up to 400°C, says the company. There are also nozzle extensions ranging from 10cm to 1.8 metres.
The Pulsar Model R86 can complement the Model R96 Radar and Eclipse Model 706 guided wave radar transmitters.
