Hydraulic hose and fitting company Ehrco has rounded off its first quarter century by recording an 18% jump in turnover.
New chairman Bryan Leavesley, who took over in September, commented:
“Our silver anniversary year has marked the beginning of a new era for Ehrco. We have had strong support for our growth plans from our loyal staff, some of whom have been with the company from the start.”
This year the firm became part of Italian-based industrial products distributor Gruppo Bianchi.
It also extended its hose assembly production facilities to increase manufacturing capacity at its Dudley headquarters and expanded its client base past 600.
Leavesley said the aim was to maintain growth in 2018, taking turnover to more than £3 million during the next 12 months.
“We will be further enhancing our Dudley premises and launching a number of new products,” he added.
Founded by David Varney in 1992, Ehrco supplies hose assemblies for food production and oil and gas, together with hydraulic hose and fittings for lifting and handling equipment.
