SafeStart is launching three of its discovery workshops for health and safety leaders, operations and HR managers this month in the UK and Ireland.
The events address key workplace safety issues including human error, recurring injuries, lack of employee engagement, and the perceived conflicts between production and safety.
Successfully implemented in 64 countries, in 32 languages and across 10,000 work sites, with more than 3 million people trained, SafeStart events feature experts outlining the factors that lead to safety issues, how to avoid making unintentional mistakes that lead to injury and provide insight for solutions.
Larry Wilson, author of SafeStart [pictured], said even when exceptional risk reduction measures are in place, these ‘common safety pain points’ can negatively affect any workplace in any industry. Employers must continue to develop their workforce and give them skills that will improve their safety.”
The company’s three March events are:
- On Tuesday 13 March at the Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel, running from 8am-12pm.
- On Wednesday 14 March at the Radisson Blu Hotel Manchester Airport, running from 8am-12pm.
- Finally, on Thursday 15 March, the workshop will be held at the Hilton Hotel Dublin, running from 8am-12pm.
