IChemE’s ‘Managing the Hazards of Flare Systems’ training course provides a comprehensive overview of flare systems including their design, operation, maintenance and modification.
Running from 5–6 June 2018, the course will see attendees gain a thorough understanding of the key elements which must be controlled to ensure effective process safety and environmental compliance.
Flares are important safety devices and an integral part of relief and abatement systems throughout the petrochemical, oil refining, biofuel and oil and gas industries.
However, if not designed, operated and maintained correctly they can cause major accidents. It’s essential that operators take the time to invest in planning and preparation to protect both workers and the environment in case a flare malfunctions.
