Wood wins £3 mill Dounreay services contract

Wood has won a four-year contract valued at up to £3 million to supply services for Scotland’s Dounreay nuclear site.
The framework contract covers design and engineering aspects and has two potential one-year extensions.
It will form part of the decommissioning programme being run by Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd. Wood will operate as prime contractor, working in partnership with Orano, GDES and Aquila.

Key services provided will include design; engineering validation; environmental restoration; seismic; construction management; commissioning support, software modelling; waste strategy documents; and technical support.
