17 Sep 2018
Entrants for one of manufacturing’s leading creative awards, The EEF Manufacturing Photography Competition, have until the start of October to participate.
Open to young, amateur and professional competitors in separate categories, the prize offers winners a share of £5,000, a day’s training course worth up to £800, an MP-guided tour of the House of Commons, and a year’s membership of The Guild of Photographers.
The theme is Celebrating Everyday Manufacturing and the three categories include best photograph by a professional, an amateur and a young person – who must be aged under 20 on the closing date of 7 October.
Competitors seeking a subject can either make their own arrangements or select a host company arranged through the EEF. For more information, click here.
Meanwhile, the Future Water Association is offering a £6,000 residency to photographers who enter its Flow Phot competition to raise awareness of the UK’s water and waterways. Closing date is 5 November and entry is here.
