CDR Pumps says its EODD is a pump that will give the features and benefits of a traditional diaphragm pump (self-priming, solids handling, ability to stall, safe pumping of toxic chemicals) but with electric motor drive as opposed to expensive compressed air.
A suitable pump solution for applications that require low pulsation and a smooth flow, the EODD features a patented air-charged drive which reduces pulsation without the need for pulsation dampeners or surge tanks, whilst state of the art technology allows the pump to stall under pressure preventing pump failures.
The energy efficient electric drive reduces energy consumption and the seal-less diaphragm pump design eliminates leaking and failures, says the company.
Other features include durable pump technology (meaning the pump can handle slurries and abrasives as well as sheer, sensitive materials) and the option for users to create the pump they require with multiple material offerings.
