Northern Industrial’s hires herald further recruitment drive
26 Feb 2019
Industrial automation spare parts and repair supplier Northern Industrial announced the first leg of expansion with the appointment of seven new recruits.
Announcing the move managing director David Lenehan said: “Although we have customers in a wide variety of manufacturing disciplines, one thing they all have in common is they want to avoid downtime at all costs.
“Dealing with customers in stressful breakdown situations across the world, we provide the spare parts and repairs customers need as quickly as possible to minimise downtime. We specialise in keeping businesses up and running, with high-quality industrial electronic spare parts, repairs and onsite support.”
He added that the recruitment will continue with a further nine roles sought – predominantly electronics engineers for field service roles.
Set up in 1978 and based in Blackburn, the family-run business specialises in new, reconditioned and obsolete parts and repair services. Sourced from more than 1,350 manufacturers, with in excess of 200,000 part numbers, Northern Industrial holds approximately £7millions-worth of stock.
It currently exports to an estimated 146 countries worldwide.
