Watson-Marlow unveils plans to extend reach in Iberian pumps market

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) is extending its reach into the Spanish and Portuguese markets with the opening of a new office in Barcelona.
The site in Cornellà de Llobregat is close to the offices of parent company Spirax Sarco Engineering’s Spirax Sarco Spain subsidiary.
It will be staffed by a team of eight including newly apoiointed general manager Ivan Garcia (pictured).
Commenting on the launch, Garcia stated: “This part of Europe is renowned for its strengths in the biopharmaceutical, food and beverage and water treatment sectors. These are industries where our niche peristaltic and sinusoidal pumps and associated fluid path solutions can deliver significant benefits over alternative technologies.”
The new office will provide sales and technical support for a range of products including Watson-Marlow Pumps, Watson-Marlow Tubes, Alitea, Flexicon, BioPure, Masosine and Asepco products for customers based in Spain and Portugal.
