Titan Enterprises has been working with leading players in the UK water industry to develop a next generation device for water leak management within properties and within the immediate vicinity.
The aims of innovative new device Waterfall, showcased at the WWT Water Industry Technology Innovation Conference, are to monitor customer water usage at an individual appliance level, offer the ability to detect leaks and pipe bursts, automatically isolate the supply if a catastrophic event occurs and provide data suitable for operation of smart water networks.
The platform combines the capability to uncover powerful real-time data from property water usage events using water signature profiling, with the ability to remotely isolate supplies in the case of a catastrophic burst or water release.
Waterfall has been well received by 12 water companies, says Titan, all looking to achieve sizeable reductions in average water consumption per household.
