Sleaford recognised for commitment to food innovation

Multiple packaged foods supplier Sleaford Quality Foods (SQF), is celebrating after after winning the Innovation category at the East Midlands Business Masters Awards.
SQF was praised for its continued innovation in both products in packaging which has seen the company embark on a number of key changes.
These include its sugar and salt renovation programme, changing the colour of its plastic packaging from black to white in an effort to become more environmentally-friendly, pledging to ensure all its packaging is recyclable or compostable by 2022 and introduce the Our Earth range of products including gluten-free, dairy-free, palm oil-free, vegan, Halal and Kosher diet suitable options.
Marketing manager Richard Oke commented:
"It's been a hugely busy year for everyone at SQF on the innovation front and so we're delighted to win this award. We're making big strides in both our free-from and environmental commitments and the benefits are already being felt by our customers.
"We'd like to thank the judges for recognising this and we'd also like to congratulate the other shortlisted companies in our category."
