BPMA successfully delivers postponed 2020 pump auditor training
17 Nov 2020
The British Pump Manufacturers Association has staged its first Certified Pump System Auditor (CPSA) training course since 2019, after being forced to postpone the event in Spring this year.
Originally due to be held in April of this year, CPSA is an industry-specific professional qualification devised and developed by the BPMA as a universally recognised industry standard for those assessing the performance of a pumping system.
Delegates attending included Shane Bates of KSB, who gained his place by recently becoming the first person to score a perfect 100% on the BPMA’s Essentials E-Learning course.
The National Metalforming Centre in West Bromwich, where the BPMA offices are located), hosted the cours, and provided a training facility that allowed socially distanced spacing for those students attending.
As a four-day residential course, with participants staying at the near-by Mercure Hotel, further social distancing measures were in place throughout the duration of their stay, to ensure the safety of students and lecturers alike.
A date for the next CPSA course in 2021 will be announced shortly. Those interested in attending are invited to email training@bpma.org.uk.
