Metso Outotec signs €33 mill Omani deal

Metso Outotec has signed a €33 million agreement for the delivery of engineering and key equipment for an iron ore Grate Kiln pellet plant to Vulcan Pelletizing in the industrial port of Sohar, Oman.
The plant, planned to produce six million tons of high-quality iron ore pellets per year, is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2023. It will supply pellets to Jindal Shadeed Iron & Steel LLC, Oman, with design based on the Grate Kiln plants that Metso Outotec is
