Clean air specialist cleans up on international orders

Specialist clean air and containment manufacturer Envair Technology has reported an 18% year-on-year rise in international sales.
Almost 40% of the group’s total revenues at the end of FY21 came from international markets, compared to 33% at the end of the previous year.
This global growth has been led primarily by its ONFAB brand, which specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing flexible isolators for the pharmaceutical process manufacturing industry.
Progress internationally has continued, with ONFAB recording a 154% rise in sales in the Americas in the first quarter of 2022 alone, compared to the whole of 2021. The brand is now forecasting that it will hit several million in sales for the US market by the end of this financial year.
This development, allied with significant international growth in Germany and Ireland, follows the group’s decision to bring more of its manufacturing processes in-house and consolidate the production of its rigid containment and fume cupboard lines in a new facility in Heywood, Greater Manchester in order to deliver faster turnaround times said CEO Andrew Ellison.
He commented: “One of our key business aims is to continue expanding our presence overseas… We expect that the growing demand we’re seeing for containment solutions will lead to further international expansion by the end of this year.”
