Entries invited for new look Chemical Industry Awards
29 Jan 2025
Submissions have opened for this year’s Chemical Industry Awards, with opportunities for inclusion in three brand new categories.
Once again there will be 12 separate awards on offer but for the first time these will include the ED&I Award, Best Workplace Health Initiative Award, and Future Leader Award.
Nominations can be made for these and other categories including Innovation, Manufacturing, Process Safety, Responsible Care, Sustainability, and Future Leader among others.
Entry deadline is 10 April, with the awards ceremony to be held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on Thursday, 19 June 2025.
Hosted by the Chemical Industries Association (CIA), which has run the event for more than 26 years, the awards ceremony honours remarkable accomplishments at the company, site or individual level within the UK chemical sector.
Organisers said that several awards have been renamed “to better align with current industry trends”, in order to ensure the ceremony not only reflected the times but also celebrated innovation and excellence.
Entry to the awards remains free of charge, however, those shortlisted must purchase tickets to attend the Awards Dinner which attracts hundreds of the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors’ leading representatives.
