Chemmies salute sector stars on stage at Blackpool

DSV Air and Sea topped the finalists at this year’s Chemmie Awards hosted by the Chemical Business Association with two wins and a commendation.
Close behind was Nordmann UK with one win and one commendation and Holiferm, with two commendations.
More than 300 industry representatives attended the event staged at Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
CEO Tim Doggett said the awards, now in their third year had been established as a must-attend event.
He commented: “The Chemmies is more than an awards ceremony – it is a celebration of the people and businesses that power the UK’s chemical supply chain.
“Created by the industry, for the industry, the enthusiasm with which it is embraced speaks volumes about the pride, passion and purpose that drive our sector.”

- Made a Difference Award – Beverley Brooman, A-Gas Electronic Materials

- Lifetime Achievement Award – Jill Young, DKSH
