Seals cover the entire pH range

Ceetak has introduced a new range of high-performance seals that are compatible with media across the entire pH scale, making them suitable for use in a wide range of industrial environments.
Made from a polyurethane compound called P5500 created by Parker Hannifin, the new seals offer the elasticity and resilience that makes them ideal for pneumatic and hydraulic wiper seal applications, rod and piston seals and diaphragms.
Unlike conventional polyurethanes, Ceetak's P5500 seals are highly resilient against hydrolysis in aqueous media, strongly alkaline fluids and concentrated acidic solutions.
Capable of high rebound elasticity, its improved chemical tolerance means the seals are also stable in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 80°C. These characteristics ensure that the seals have a long operating life and that intervals between maintenance requirements are extended.
The P5500 seals have WRC approval for water industry applications and BGA approval for food operations.
