Because the lady loves worm action

Cadbury Schweppes Australia is using a tray made from a biodegradable polymer for one of its most famous products - the Cadbury Milk Tray range of chocolates.
So now, chocolate eaters will be able to enjoy even more fun after eating the contents of the box - by watching the packaging dissolve!
Made from Australian grown corn by Victoria-based Plantic Technologies, the 'Plantic' tray breaks down into carbon dioxide and water in virtually any outdoor environment -compost, landfill, a stream or the sea. Plantic Technologies says that 'worm action' in household compost will biodegrade the tray within six weeks.
Not only is the material biodegradable, but it's also recyclable. Any off cuts during manufacturing can be directly recycled back into the manufacturing process. The manufacturing process can also be adapted to incorporate colour and aromas.
The non-toxic Plantic material itself was developed by the Australian Co-operative Research Centre (CRC) for International Food Manufacturing and Packaging Science in a seven-year effort between 1995 and 2002.
