Rationalisation on the Fisher-Rosemount range
15 Jan 2000
Fisher-Rosemount Measurement has rationalised its thermometry range to simplify selection and make ordering easier.
A new part number structure (Series 65, 75 and 165) includes the sensor, head, extension and thermowell all in one model number line, eliminating assembly errors and, says F-R, promoting smoother customer response.
Investment in the company's Bognor Regis premises has also brought delivery times down to two weeks for standard products. The company's applications engineers can provide wake frequency calculations to ensure that thermowells are suitable for a particular application.
Using either thin-film or wire-wound RTDs and a variety of thermocouples, temperatures from -200 degrees to 1800 degreesC can be measured with the range.
