Ring dryer for small scale use
15 Jan 2000
Tonbridge-based Drytec is taking to stand A13 in Hall 4.1 its new 3in ring dryer, and then taking it home again after Achema for use in its Experimental Test Centre.
Said to be especially suited to the drying of filter cakes, fibrous materials, sludges and particulates, the dryer is a compact unit ideal for pilot studies and small-scale production. It features short residence times to provide gentle drying for heat-sensitive products.
Other key features available include a centrifugal classifier for increased operating efficiency; open or closed circuit configuration for processing difficult products; ancillary equipment such as back mixer, special feeders, wet scrubbers, solvent recovery systems and bag filters; and partial recycling of exhaust gases to further improve thermal efficiency.
Operated by Drytec personnel, the Test Centre is available to customers for pilot plant studies, product development, and small-scale production.
