New wet gas facility

The National Engineering Laboratory has opened a new wet gas facility at its complex in East Kilbride for developing and testing metering technologies.
The facility was created in response to worldwide interest across the oil and gas industry, as the ability to meter wet gas - natural gas with a percentage of liquid condensate - increases the viability of marginal fields, which in turn removes the need for expensive separation plant
