Foxboro has released MagEXPERT IMT96 magnetic flow metre, a device said to combat the high process signal noise created by chemical additives, slurries and high-consistency pulsating flows.
The Foxboro MagEXPERT IMT96 magnetic flow meter is said to squelch noises and boost performance even on the worst process flows.
The MagEXPERT uses eX-Pulse technology, which is said to combine the ease and reliability of traditional ac meters with the accuracy that intelligent dc meters promise but have never achieved until now.
Other benefits include online, intelligent diagnostic/help capability; simple, menu-driven software configuration; compatibility with existing flowmeter systems; high accuracy, fast response and low power consumption.
The MagEXPERT can be mounted on a pipe, surface, wall or panel and is, according to Foxboro, particularly suited for use in the pulp and paper, and mining and minerals industries.
