Keeping solids on the move

Wherever build up of powders or granular materials causes problems in dry processing and handling systems, the Sibus-Drayton acoustic cleaner range could be the answer.
These devices eliminate particle build-up and are said to help with material flow, handling, transportation and storage. They can be used in dryers, silos, bulk storage facilities and bin applications.
A periodic 'blast' is all that is needed to free and dislodge stubborn particulate deposits. Operated by compressed air, the horns produce a low frequency, high energy sound wave that creates pressure fluctuations within the bridged material.
Once dislodged, the material will fall under gravity or be carried away by the gas or air flow within the process. Sibus has successfully installed the units in silos, hoppers, filters, ductwork and fans.
