Allison takes HART

Allison's FCI ST98 thermal mass flowmeter is now available with the HART communications protocol, to supplement existing models with RS232C outputs. The meter, claimed to be the 'best of breed', uses no moving parts and will not clog.
The ST98 measures gas flows directly, and is configured for low flow sensitivity down to 25mm and up to very large flows. It is suitable for natural gas, flare gas, nitrogen blanketing, hydrogen,compressed air, combustion air, digester/biogas and other gas mass flows, Allison says.
It has CENELEC explosion proofing approval, rated Eexd IIc, and is available with integral or remote electronics.
