On-line quality

Techniques developed for on-line wet chemistry systems have helped Bran + Luebbe to devise a system for monitoring and controlling water quality. With multi-stream capabiltity, the DiaMon Resources device can measure samples in both the activation basin and final effluent.
The system uses diode array sepctroscopy to measure a range of pollutants including nitrates and nitrites, chemical and biological oxygen demand, standard absorption coefficient, phosphates and ammonia. The system comes pre-calibrated, and can be adjusted to local conditions once installed.
An inbuilt 486DX processor collects and stores additional data, and can be operated using an integral keypad or remote PC. Recalibration and drift compensation are automatic, and integral monitoring of control functions minimises maintenance.
Companies interested in buying the equipment can assess a mobile demonstration unit, which Bran + Luebbe will deliver and install so that users can compare its performance against other monitors.
