Hygienic control
15 Jan 2000
The stringent hygiene demands of the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and food processing industries require automated control valves made to exacting standards. These are just the applications for the SCV85 Badger Meter control valve, says distributor Pump Engineering.
The compact, modulating sanitary control valve is suited to duties such as pressure, temperature and flow control in fermentation reactors, control of gas blankets in closed vessels and ingredients control.
The valve is supplied complete with an actuator housed in epoxy-coated aluminium as standard, with a 316 stainless steel option. Sizes are 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 11/2in.
