California switches on to web I/Os
15 Jan 2000
Switching on a light in California from an office in Soho, and reading its changing temperature, may not be the highlight of your day, but it helped demonstrate the increasing power of web-based technologies when done via www.internetio.com. This is the demonstration site for Opto 22's SNAP-B3000-ENET `brain', the system designed for Opto's SNAP I/O that allows any web browser to connect directly to analogue and digital I/O channels in real-time.
See more at Opto's UK agent Systems Device's stand at next month's OSPMA-FieldComms 99 show at Telford (5-6 October).
