BOC polishes off new oxygen deal
15 Jan 2000
The BOC group is to build the largest air separation plant in Poland at a site run by one of the country's largest chemicals concerns, Zaklady Azotowe Kedzieryn (ZAK). The agreement, signed by (left to right) Barry Beecroft, managing director of BOC Gases Europe; Danny Rozenkrantz, chief executive of BOC; and Jozef Sebesta, president of ZAK, represents a £30million investment for BOC.
The plant, producing 1340t of oxygen and 1800t of nitrogen, will be sited at a complex in Kedzieryn-Kozle, near Wroclaw. The complex produces ammonia-based fertilisers, oxo-alcohols and adhesives.
