Cantilever pump suits dry running

Vanton's SGK range of thermoplastic vertical centrifugal sump pumps is designed to handle corrosive - or ultrapure - materials, in applications where bearing immersion is not permissible.
The cantilevered shaft pumps also operate in applications where dry running may be necessary. They are rated for flows to 1,000gpm, at heads to 75m and to a temperature of 135 degrees C, with the upper range determined by the thermoplastic chosen from a range of polymers. They are available for pump depths to 2m.
Special features of the pumps include: their suitability for European standard motors; Fume-Gard vapour seals to protect bracket and bearings; reinforcing ribs to support the thermoplastic column; and casing, cover plate and impellers moulded from chemically inert thermoplastics.
