Pressure indicator doubles as calibrator

A hand-held battery powered digital pressure indicator may also be used as a low-cost calibration device, according to its manufacturer, Druck. Designed to measure pressure in remote, hazardous areas of process plants, the unit is intrinsically safe - its ABS casing is sealed to IP54 - and simple to operate.
The sensor is available in gauge, absolute or differential pressure formats, and boasts an accuracy of +/-0.1FS for ranges up to 20bar. Using the unit in conjunction with a hand-pump, it can also be used as a field calibrator.
The five keys located below the LCD display enable selection of pressure or temperature, maximum and minimum value capture, setting of audiovisual alarm signals, pressure drop and leak testing, tare value and display filter, and choice of 16 pressure scales.
