CD-ROM helps in pump selection

AEA Technology has released a CD-ROM called Pumps and Pumping, which it says will provide equipment specifiers with a 'cost effective route to making the best pumping decisions'.
The science and engineering service company adds that P&P combines a 'world class' knowledge of pumping with the accessibility of CD-ROM technology.
The Windows-based package features live equations for the calculation of key industry pumping parameters.
Pumps & Pumping has technical specifications of 60 types of pump and descriptions of how to install and control them. Furthermore, there are tables of the properties of 250 commonly pumped materials.
The resource is intended for plant designers, contractors and operators, purchasing managers and consultants.
