ABLE Instruments has released a new series of pressure transmitters designed to measure low differential pressures. The `W' series is intended for high vacuum, process and automation monitoring.
The sensor contains two piezoresistive sensors with stainless steel isolation diaphragms. Both sensors measure static pressure, and the difference between the two is compared by the transmitter's internal electronics. It isn't possible to overpressurise the device, says ABLE.
