Design software house HTFS, part of AEA Technology, is launching a design package for calculating new exchanger equipment based on the geometry of a thermal design. MECHX can determine the required thickness of all pressure parts, with girth flanges, tubesheets and bolted covers.
It can also re-rate existing equipment to determine if they are still suitable for the job. The full geometry of each pressure part can be input and calculations performed to determine suitability.
