Anti-corrosion coating for exchanger coils

Since SPC gained the UK licence of a powerful anti-corrosion coating from Holland, the company can now offer its heat exchange coils with added protection.
Called Blygold, the non-sacrificial coating prevents the severe loss of performance which can result from corrosion caused by aggressive process environments.
Without preventive measures, SPS reckons corrosion of coil fins can lead to a swift reduction of heat transfer, in severe cases by as much as 80 per cent in the first year. Blygold treatment reduces the degradation without adverse effect on performance and only minimal air pressure drop, says SPC.
