BizTalk gains supporters
15 Jan 2000
Microsoft's BizTalk system, a framework for e-commerce, is gathering support among software vendors, according to the Seattle-based software giant. The system allows companies to trade over the internet, regardless of which systems they, their customers and suppliers use.
The first draft specification of BizTalk is now available on the worldwide web at www.biztalk.org. This outlines design guidelines for building BizTalk-enabled software using extensible markup language (XML). Software companies supporting BizTalk include SAP, Ross Systems, Marcam Solutions and Baan.
