Honeywell consolidates software solutions to form new business
15 Jan 2000
Honeywell is forming a business that aims to boost profits, improve performance, reduce losses, control expenses, increase product quality and help reach regulations for customers.
The new business will be called @sset.MAX Solutions and is to provide a portfolio of solutions that range from training, asset management and maintenance to incident reduction.
The company @sset.MAX Solutions brings together Honeywell's training simulation technology with other solutions such as Equipment Health Management, Abnormal Situation Management and Uniperformance, to reinforce the Honeywell TotalPlant Solution system.
The company `@sset.MAX Solutions combines incident-avoidance with the assurance of a healthy plant,' said Peter Winter, European Manager. `Never before have these separate, yet coexisting realms been so closely connected. Optimal plant performance depends on these connections - the ability to handle adequately process upsets.'
