Bud Ingalls, currently vice president and chief financial officer of LaRoche, is due in addition to head up a new European subsidiary, LII Europe. Based in Frankfurt, the new operation will control the strategic and financial aspects of LaRoche's European interests.
Gee whizzes at Baxenden
Urethane chemicals company Baxenden has brought in Norman Gee as group managing director, following the retirement, after 26 years of leadership, of Alan Taylor. Gee joined the company 20 years ago and moves from the position of general manager of the PU systems division. Anne Marie Stannard, formerly of EVC, is his replacement; while a new head of the speciality chemicals division arrives in the form of Tim Hughes, previously at Courtaulds.
Field in a field of his own
Mike Field is to become a divisional manager at BASF, responsible for logistics and safety, health and environment from his previous position as business unit manager for Engineering Plastics.
Hankins heads east in new shoes
After 17 years with ICI, Tony Hankins takes over two roles as chief executive officer for polyurethane activities in the Asia-Pacific region and global business director for the footwear sector at ICI, joining the executive team for ICI Polyurethanes.
