Modelling tool simulates process runs

Utah-based Auto Simulations is now shipping AutoMod 9.0 for the 3-D simulation of complex manufacturing and material handling systems.
Introduced in the upgrade is the new Tanks and Pipes module for continuous process modelling, enabling manufacturers to simulate their entire process for industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, petroleum and gas processing, and distribution.
AutoMod 9.0 includes changes to the former (AGV) system, now called the Pathmover system, allowing vehicle tracking and vehicle scheduling for more accurate models of path-based material handling systems.
A new version of AutoStat is added for statistical optimisation of model runs for quicker experimentation of alternative system designs.
