Lobeline handles grit and rags
15 Jan 2000
Lobeline from Flygt is a range of lobe pumps designed for wastewater sludge handling applications, at flow rates up to 522m3/h.
There are twelve different models to suit various municipal sludge applications.
The range includes a lobe pump for non-abrasive and non-corrosive application, such as sludges with low quantities of grit and rags, incorporating a ductile rotor case and urethane or ductile iron motors.
A pump for abrasive but non corrosive flows for high grit and rag content, has been manufactured by adding hardened carbon steel radial plates and rear wearplates.
Other features include reversible flow, self-priming, handling of air-entrained liquids and quiet operation. The flexibility of configuration allows replacement of all the sludge contacting components.
