ABB claims to have launched the first network of variable speed drives distributors on the Internet, featuring more than 20 ABB distributors.
Visitors to the website can simply click on the nearest 'blob' to them shown on a map of the UK, and the site will provide full details of the distributor, the products it supplies, how to order, services offered and who to contact. Each distributor's site includes a hotlink to ABB's product information page, which provides technical details of each drive. Most sites will allow e-mail ordering.
