IS transmitters for tough duties

The 8000-SAN series of intrinsically-safe, solid-state pressure transmitters from Nobel Systems is designed to meet the exacting standards of the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The CE-marked range uses piezoresistive or ceramic sensors with very strong flush-mounted diaphragms, capable of withstanding the most rigorous cleaning cycles in situ and remaining clog-free in operation.
An all-stainless steel design allows for choice of materials for the wetted parts, with AISI 316 as standard. Hastelloy B or C are options with customer-specified materials for special applications.
The transmitter's output is 4-20mA and there are six pressure ranges available, from 0-0.4bar to 0-16bar, with options for vacuum and compound ranges.
Accuracy of 0.2 per cent is maintained over the adjusted pressure span, and all sensor types are fully temperature compensated over a range of 230 degrees to 100 degreesC for continuous operation.
