Sealless pump for dry running
15 Jan 2000
ASV's eccentric, sealless pumps are designed such that process fluids do not come into contact with the workings so they are suitable for handling corrosive or viscous materials.
Available from Pump Engineering, the self-priming pumps are unaffected by dry running and can be operated with a starved suction.
The pumps operate with a rotor mounted eccentrically on a shaft which rotates within a flexible liner, squeezing the liquid through. This operating principle eliminates the need for sliding parts so wear and maintenance are minimised.
