Flush-fitting diaphragm unit for food applications

A flush diaphragm cartridge pressure transmitter from Danfoss is said to be particularly suitable for hygienic applications in the food and drink industry, as well as for industrial applications involving aggressive and viscous media.
The MBS4510 has a pressure connection with two methods of sealing. In hygienic applications, or where the media is crystallising or hardening, a cone-shaped metal-on-metal seal is used at the front end, close to the diaphragm. For other applications, the transmitter can be mounted with a gasket behind the connection thread.
Accuracy is better than +/-0.5 per cent and the measuring range can be adjusted by +/-5 per cent, with the adjustable zero point capable of being moved from -20 to +5 per cent for the lowest measuring ranges, to 25 to +2.5 per cent for the highest.
