Benchtop batch mixer suits QC

Philip Harris Scientific has launched the Polytron PT6100 homogeniser as the largest of the Kinematica range of benchtop, batch process mixers.
It has a powerful 1600W motor, which is capable of processing volumes from 200ml to 30litres with a top speed of 24,000rpm.
The PT6100 has a choice of over 40 quick coupling dispersion tools available to suit a wide range of dispersing and homogenising tasks.
In the pharmaceutical industry the PT6100 has proved capable of processing large batches of the most brittle of tablets in preparation for QC analysis.
It also has a clear digital LED variable speed display, low noise and a control unit providing overload protection and speed or an optional RECO RP 502 control unit, where speed, process time and upper temperature limits can be set.
