Rubbery and resistant

Greene, Tweed's new chemical resistant perfluoroelastomer, dubbed Chemraz 615, boasts the highest temperature resistance available, the company claims. It is so confident that it will refund the full price to customers if the material does not outperform their current brand.
`Chemraz 615 starts with better physical properties, and retains them better, than any other perfluoroelastomer on the market at temperatures up to 315 degrees C,' claims Greene, Tweed. It has high tensile strength, resists attack by virtually all chemical reagents including inorganic and organic acids, steam and hot water, and resists swelling and embrittlement, while retaining its elastomeric properties.
